Prof. Dr. Md. Shahnewaz Chowdhury is one of the most experienced Anaesthesiologists and Pain Specialists in Bangladesh, with over 26 years of government service and 14 years of teaching experience in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine. He served as Professor and Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology at Sylhet Women's Medical College and has extensive experience in clinical anaesthesia, critical care, ICU management, medical education, and academic research.
Currently, he is serving as the Director & ICU In-Charge of Popular Medical Centre & Hospital, Sylhet.
