Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Md. Shirajul Islam Khan

Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Md. Shirajul Islam Khan is one of Bangladesh’s leading Dermatologists, specializing in Skin, Allergy, Cosmetic Dermatology, Laser Treatments, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). With decades of clinical and academic experience, he is widely recognized for providing advanced, evidence-based care for a broad range of skin and venereal diseases.

He holds prestigious qualifications including MBBS, FCPS (Skin & Sex), MCPS, DDV, FRCP (UK), and MACP (USA). He has further enhanced his expertise through a Grading Course in Dermatology from Armed Forces Medical Institute (AFMI) and a Fellowship in Dermatosurgery & Laser from Thailand, making him highly skilled in modern cosmetic and laser dermatology.

Dr. Khan currently serves as the Professor & Head of the Department of Dermatology & Venereology at both Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka, and Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Dhaka. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of eczema, acne, psoriasis, hair loss, vitiligo, skin allergies, pigmentation disorders, sexually transmitted infections (STDs), and other complex skin conditions. He also provides advanced laser treatments, dermatosurgery, and cosmetic dermatology services.
